Zoldan Lab participates in Explore UT!

The Zoldan Lab participated in Explore UT, an event meant to showcase the University of Texas at Austin’s education, research, and outreach. The lab members presented on the interaction of stem cells and biomaterials and how this research might be leveraged to create personalized stem cell therapies. Highlights included the exhibition of beating cardiomyocytes and a working cotton candy machine (to explain fiber extrusion). FullSizeRender (5)

Alicia Allen Wins NSF Fellowship!

A huge congratulations to Alicia Allen for winning a highly competitive National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship! This fellowship provides three years financial support and travel opportunities for graduate students to research abroad. Good job, Alicia!
